Let me introduce myself:

My name is Gwen Cooper, and I am a semi retired Ob/Gyn currently doing locum tenens work in Nevada.

I was born in the Bronx, New York and currently live in Alabama.

I opened my private practice in 1987 at a time when women were not welcome in the deep south. Let’s not mention that I am Jewish, and hearing impaired.

It has been over three decades filled with seemingly insurmountable obstacles , incredible successes and fulfillment.

I see younger physicians struggling with many of the same issues and insecurities that I did, and I am hoping to share some of my experiences, and lessons learned.
